Nemo’s Story

Born into a family of which every member is in some way musical, from the age of 14 years old, Nemo Hunt has played guitar and sung. 

Several years later, he joined his brother Ethan in becoming a popular duo, (later adding bassist Jordan Perkins in “Lumin”) and they formed the core that would eventually become the quartet NOOHRA.

During these formative years, Nemo counts Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kaleo, Panic at the Disco, and Sam Henshaw as having been creative influences in his musical life.

”I’ve experienced dramatic personal development both as a person and as a guitarist / vocalist during my time in both Lumin and NOOHRA,” Nemo says.

He considers the joy of “creating and playing music with my best friends” as his favorite thing about being in NOOHRA, but he also wants that joyful experience to in some way be translated, as well, to as many people as possible who listen to Noohra’s music.
